Beautiful Northern Sweden with chance to see the Northern lights

About this assignment

We're looking for someone that will enjoy living in a typical northern Swedish town for about three weeks this December (dates are not fixed yet)

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

You will be taking care of our dog, Ziggy. He's a very friendly, loving dog who loves to go on walks, play and cuddle. You'll also have a rabbit that will want to be fed twice a day. It would also be very convenient if you could shovel the snow with our electric snow machine when it snows.

What are the good features of the property and location

You'll be able to experience the real Northern Sweden during the cold, dark, cozy winter out of the comfort of a big, fully equipped house. It's in a small town, with a supermarket (10 minute walk). The bigger city is a 20 minute drive, there's also buses from our town, Bureå.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We would appreciate serious housesitters who are responsible and kind to our animals. Be aware that the days are very short in December up here. There's a couple of hours of daylight and it can get very cold. But it's also very cozy to be indoor with the beautiful snow outside. You can borrow some warm clothes from us if you need. We're able to pick you up from the Skellefteå airport if you decide to fly here. We are a bit flexible with the dates. Let us know if you have any more questions!
