Animal loving person or couple sought to spend Christmas & New Year 2024 with Dizzy, Peppa & Mimi in the French countryside

About this assignment

We are looking for some kind, reliable, considerate, caring animal lovers to look after our gorgeous dog and 2 cats and mind our house during our absence.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We would love you to take care of Dizzy (our dog), feed him and take him out for walks, as well as keeping an eye on and feeding our two cats. They do not live in the house but have beds, in the garage.

It would be great if you could keep an eye on the house and ensure that the hot tub is maintained with chemicals.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our house is a fairly new, open plan, single storey property, benefitting from under floor heating so it is an ambient temperature all year round.

Modern fitted kitchen for cooking up a feast for the festive season! A large living area, 2 bedrooms (1 en-suite), bathroom, cinema room and outdoor hot tub. The house is located in the French countryside, 10 minutes by car from the town of Chateaubriant.

A car is a must.

Chateaubriant is beautiful at Christmas time with its lovely decortations, market, skating rink and Christmas festivities. Plenty of restaurants in town and large supermarkets and superstores on the outskirts..

Ideal location for exploring the nearby towns and villages including Nantes, Rennes, Vitre, La Guerche de Bretagne, Ancenis, Angers.

There is a nearby train station (Isse or Chateaubriant) for trains to Nantes.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are looking for sitters who are able to stay at our property for just over a 5 week period over Christmas and New Year 2024.
The local village of Isse is 3.3km from our house so a car is essential.

Can I bring my own pets?
