About this assignment

I am looking for a house/cat sitter for my large, beautiful home in my private prairie sanctuary from 6/30/25 to 7/11/25. It is a spacious and elegant new home with high ceilings and an outdoor water sculpture. I am sure you will love it as I do! It is a 14-minute drive to lovely Sedona that has world-class dining, hiking, and biking trails. Only a 12-minute drive to Red Rock State Park and beautiful Oak Creek and the famous Cathedral Rock, a natural monument formation. A 9-minute drive to Cottonwood with many interesting sites and fine dining.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed my kitties at 7am-ish and 7pm-ish. Check or clear the litter box once a day, in the morning. I have a completely private, enclosed backyard. The kitty door is open during daylight hours. Close the kitty door at night so they can not go out. Play with kitties and give them lots of pets and love! Keep my house neat and clean. Collect the mail at least once during the week.

What are the good features of the property and location

My home is at the end of a Cul-de-Sac, open to lovely, undeveloped Prairie land with hiking trails nearby. My backyard is completely enclosed and private. My home is newish, with many desirable features including a 60" TV with surround sound, and an electronic "fireplace" with crystals and multi colors with or without heat.
Sedona is a top-rated destination resort town. My property is a 14-minute drive to Sedona and 9-minute drive to Cottonwood. Close by are Red Rock Crossing Park and Slide Rock Park for refreshing dips and swimming in the lovely Oak Creek. My home is located in a lovely golf course community. Low-cost golfing is offered along with a pro shop, a bar, and a restaurant. You will have access to our Community Club House, Pool, Spa, and Gym as my guest. You will be required to pay a $15.00 CASH-only deposit per person during your stay for an access key card and registration. You will get your $15 deposit back when you return the key card the day before you leave.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This is an even exchange. Care for my kitties while I am gone in exchange for a beautiful home to stay in.
You will stay in my guest bedroom with a double futon, a desk, and a prairie view that stretches for 5 miles. You have your own private bathroom. The master bedroom is not for guest use.
