About this assignment

Seeking a true animal and plant lover to care for my pets and place as if they were your own. I am a recent widow and can only enjoy my travels if I know all is well at home so quick and clear communications are essential.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Twice-daily feedings of Lou and Laurie, two darling B&W kitties (each just over a year old) plus treats and playtime. Daily scooping of three litter boxes. Twice-daily feedings and playtime with Odi, a trained and gentle mutt rescued from Oaxaca. Watering plants inside and out on a clear schedule that I will share. Bringing in mail and packages.

What are the good features of the property and location

There are two houses on my property. Lou, Laurie, and Odi live in the main house, a classic 1960s pink barrio home. You will stay in my guest house, a newly built, modern home with a rooftop deck, covered porch, and amazing indoor outdoor shower. The pictures in this listing are of the guest house.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Please only apply if you truly love cats AND dogs and have excellent communication skills. Good instincts in caring for desert plants a plus. Non-smokers only, sorry.
