Easter cat-sit in central Malmö

About this assignment

My boyfriend Johan and I are travelling to the UK to see my family over Easter therefore looking for a cat-sitter to take care of our friendly and sometimes cheeky 4 year old female cat Willow and our charming male (bit shyer) cat Charlie, both indoor cats. We are looking for tidy, respectful cat-sitters, and are open to an individual or couple.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Cuddle and play with Willow and Charlie! Of course, also feed them and empty the litter box. We hope you would leave the apartment as we leave it.
They mostly eat wet cat food (several meals a day) and we typically empty the litter once a day.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our apartment building is located in central Malmö, though in a calm and quiet area. It is about 10 minutes walk to the central station, so has great train/bus connections, and is walking distance to the main square and plenty of nice cafes and restaurants! We live on the first floor (one staircase up). Our apartment (90 sqm) has beautiful turn-of-the-century details but also a modern kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there is a washing machine in the bathroom (we have a drying rack). The bed is 180cm, and in the living room you have a TV with Netflix. We have a large dining table and a small office room with a desk if needed (we have a computer screen available and WiFi of course). You’re welcome to borrow a bike too!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We will be leaving on the morning of Tuesday 31st March and are back on the afternoon/early evening of Monday 6th April. Since we only have the one bed, we unfortunately can't offer accommodation prior or after to these dates.

We have some ongoing renovation projects as we fairly recently bought and moved to this apartment. However it is nothing major causing mess or inconvenience.

Our apartment has some sensitive surfaces (marble kitchen top, newly sanded oak floors) and furnitures (oak dining table & chairs) which we will trust you to follow general rules on to avoid damage.

Heads up that Charlie is currently going through a phase of meowing for food in the early morning, around 6 am. Probably fine if you are normally an early riser, but if not, he will let you go back to sleep after he gets some food!
