Beautiful views from 3 different balconies.

Sweet cat, great location - a great week in Lisbon
I spent a week in July in Lisbon looking after a young, sweet cat Caju —really affectionate and easy to be around. Yes, he did meow quite a lot, and I wasn’t sure if it was just his personality or if he was missing his owners, but overall he was a lovely companion, well-behaved and super playful. Be ready to play a lot! The owners left clear, detailed instructions and stayed in touch throughout, which made everything straightforward and easy. The flat itself was small but cozy, in a neighborhood that felt authentic and not too touristy, which I really appreciated. Lots of local places to eat around. I'm quite sensitive to sound, so couldn't get used to the planes heading to land at the airport but that’s a personal thing. A major plus was having one of the main train stations nearby, which made getting around super convenient. Thanks again for the opportunity Yusra.

A fabulous cat and house sit in beautiful Lisbon
Sitting Yusra’s and Moses’ house and taking care of their lovely cat Caju was a wonderful experience. Caju is a lively sweet little chap with an adorable personality, being around him, playing and cuddling with him, and taking care of his needs was heartwarming and fulfilling. He took our hearts by storm. Yusra and Moses are very friendly and laid-back home owners, it was a pleasure to communicate with them. They are very well organized and reliable, and provided us with clear instructions concerning pet and house/plant care, as well as with a city map and a travel guide book of Lisbon - very attentive! Their modern apartment is super cosy, bright and spacious, offering all amenities needed, including 3 nice little balconies, that offer beautiful views of the neighborhood. We felt at home from the first minute on. The apartment was super clean and tidy and some lovely welcome presents waited for us upon our arrival, including a tasty local cake and a basket with beauty products and new towels - a very sweet and generous gesture that was much appreciated! Their home is located in a well maintained building in Campolide, a nice, friendly neighborhood, hardly frequented by tourists, and yet central, an ideal spot from where to explore beautiful Lisbon and its surroundings. We are very grateful for Yusra’s and Moses’ hospitality and Caju’s loving company and would come back with great pleasure.

Caring for Caju in Lisbon
We looked after Caju for three weeks in October in Lisbon. This house sit was very easy, the apartment was well located for walking around and discovering all Lisbon had to offer, including day trips to Sintra and a the Lisbon coast. We particularly liked the fact we could eat like locals in Campodile and enjoy the atmosphere away from the tourist areas. We meet up with Yusra and Moses the evening before they left, we immediately felt at ease in their company, they showed us around the apartment and made us feel very welcome. Meeting Caju was fun he immediately started playing with us, and his inquisitive nature became more apparent during our stay, he loves to play games and he was very easy to care for. Using whats app with Yusra regularly to reassure them he was doing well. We would recommend this friendly couple and would happily return to play with Caju.
