17yo small dog. Deaf, partially blind, nervous.
Im looking for someone to occupy the house and care for my 17 year old Yorkshire mix. Experience with aged dogs and giving medicines a bonus.
Caring for my dog and ensuring the house is secure. My dog is a 17yo Yorkshire terrier who is deaf, partially blind and has recently started having some dementia. She needs someone caring to ensure she is cool and fed, and who will take her for a small walk twice a day and on frequent toilet breaks on the lawn outside, giving an inhaler twice daily and medicine. Also ensuring the security of the house and our belongings.
3bedroom vertical house with patio, close to local markets, Holland and Dempsey village, botanical gardens. Excellent transport options from 'Grabs' to busses - the bus stops are within a 1 minute walk both directions. Good facilities and security, lots of trees and flowers. We have bikes for those who like to bike around the city and in the natural parts like the green lane and old train line. There’s a gym, sauna and outdoor Olympic sized pool in the complex.
Experience with dogs is a must and a necessity to be caring and careful with my aged dog. She has lost her hearing, needs to stay cool and is nervous. She sleeps most of the day but likes to go for a walk in the morning and evening. The house has 5 levels with the master suite on the top floor, so applicants must be relatively mobile. References a must.
No, sorry.

Smashing Singapore Sit
This was a very pleasant housesit in a charming residence close to the Botanical Gardens. The hosts were really friendly and I felt at home instantly. Chou Chou was my ward for this assignment, she's an elderly terrier who is partially sighted and totally deaf. She is on quite a lot of medication and I had a clear play book for the administration of this. She enjoyed her walks in the evening as well as a mooch around on the grass outside the house. Otherwise she would sleep most of the time. She is well behaved and generally amenable but I sometimes found her a little unwilling to take her inhaler. But in the round, she took to me well and we got on just fine. The location is great for Holland Village and I cycled there most days for odds and ends. The facilities at the complex are first class: a fifty metre swimming pool, tennis courts, sauna, gym. Plus I had the loan of a sturdy bicycle and was able to get around really easily. I discovered the rail corridor cycle path and this was excellent!! The family have an enormous TV I think 85". I enjoyed Netflix and YT! All together this was a super housesit in a great setting with a splendid companion and I'm very grateful to the owners for choosing me.

Our House and pet sit in Provence
My husband and I had the good fortune to house/pet sit for Alana and her family over the 2023/24 Christmas holidays. From the moment we met on line, we could tell that they were both kind and generous people. They graciously let us stay with them on the busy night they had before they left, offered the same upon their return and offered to drive us between airport and their home. They are truly such a lovely family. Chou Chou, their old but young spirited Yorkshire terrier, is a delight and full of character. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our days hanging out with her and taking her with us on our outings. After spells of walking, she looked forward to being popped into my husband's jacket, so it is just as well she is quite small! We do miss her. The family home is beautiful and has every comfort. The grounds surrounding the house are also beautiful. Their home is situated between 4 small towns and about a 20 minutes drive from Aix en Provence. The scenery is stunning, even in the winter time. There are walks, cycleways, plenty of shops, restaurants and stores and then there is the town of Aix with its multiplicity of amenities and fabulous markets. We had such a wonderful stay and are so happy we had the opportunity to get to know Alana and her family.
