About this assignment
I am looking for someone who loves cats. My cat, Maja, is super loveable and she mostly just needs someone to cuddle with. Non-smokers only.
This is a very easy sit. You just need to ensure she always has food and water and doesn't run away. Easy :)
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Give Maja food and water. Make sure she doesn't escape LOL. Cuddle with her and ideally spend a good amount of time in the apartment with her every day. But she can also be alone for hours without any problems. I have a few plants that need water.
What are the good features of the property and location
My apartment is located 500 meters from the beach. In the neighborhood, you'll find supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, and public transport within walking distance.
I have good fiber optic wifi, washing machine, big TV,...
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We are in the south of Spain and most of the time the weather is nice, even in winter. However, there is the possibility of rain and colder weather, but I have a heater and plenty of blankets so you should be okay in case :)
Please note: To help cover utilities and services (electricity, water, wifi, and community taxes) during your stay, I request a fixed contribution of €50 per week.

2 weeks with Maja in Torremolinos
I had such a great experience sitting Maja for 2 weeks. I think she is a true cat lover's dream. She loves cuddles and will come ask for them when she feels like, she also loves some playtime and taking lots of naps. Communication with Nina was very easy from the beginning, whenever I needed to ask her something she was there to help. Their home is in a place where everything is close by and is perfect for a sunny holiday. Overall I really enjoyed it and would be happy to do it again anytime!

Sweet Maja
What a delight! I had such a nice time in Torremolinos with Maja. She is a fun, sweet cat. Very full of cuddles 😊. Nina was a great host, providing me with everything I needed for a comfortable stay and helped me with some logistics. Lovely sit!

Taking care for Nina's home and cat Maja.
Nina's home was at a favourable location in Torremolinos, Spain. Close to boulevard and beach and still quiet. Because of the winter time a lot of shops, restaurants etc were closed but enough was left open. And there was a perfect poole (25 as well as 50 m indoors). I staid there about 3 weeks. Maja was a tiny clever little cat, who needed to cope with my habits and vice verse. But after two days she jumped on my lap when I looked tv. Very cosy, purring softly. Asking sometimes with a soft meow for something, very funny. She was blinking when I looked at her, and did a lot of sleeping. No problem to leave her at home to do what tourists do: sightseeing in Malaga. Mostly the sky was blue and temperatures varying between 15-19 degr C (once 23, unbelievable). A lovely stay with Maja in Torremolinos
I was delighted as Nina choose me to stay with her cat Maja in Torremolinos in December 2023. I arrived in Spain two days before the start of the pet sit and I was able to meet Maja and Nina before she left. After one day of hesitation, Maja approached me and soon started spending long periods of time with me, coming to me for hugs before bedtime and approaching again in the morning when she noticed I was awake. She is very sweet and very easy to be with. As a long-haired cat, he sheds quite a bit of hair, so be prepared to clean your clothes often. A small piece of foam helps with the laundry, as it collects a lot of the cat's hair. Torremolinos is a really great place to stay, and Nina's home is just a short walk from a large grocery store called Mercadona and close to a great seaside boulevard with a relaxed Spanish lifestyle. The location is perfect for relaxation and enjoyment at any time of year. I'd be happy to do it again.
