About this assignment

Someone who would enjoy reading a good book with a snuggly dog on their lap each day. Respectful of property and neighbors. Happy to play fetch, give belly rubs, and go on hikes.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed and walk pup twice a day
Spend most of your time with him—he can’t be left alone for more than 2-3 hrs a day.
Water plants
He’s a healthy 5yr old who doesn’t require any special medical care.

What are the good features of the property and location

10 minutes from downtown Asheville. Great restaurants, micro breweries, music, theater, and art scene. Right off of Blue Ridge Parkway. Great hiking/kayaking/waterfalls
2Br/ 1 Bath house with fenced front and back yard

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I work from home so he is accustomed to having someone around. If you like to be out and about, please take him with you. Asheville is a very dog friendly town and many merchants keep treats behind the counter for canine visitors.
