House in Boulder Colorado. Pet-sit 3 dogs. July 13-August 7 2024

About this assignment

Responsible & honest. Loving and caring. Will communicate with us regularly. Experienced with pets and house sitting. We will be out of the country on this trip so we are looking for someone who can step up to the responsibility to make sure pets are safe and happy and that the house is in good condition. A good match for this position is someone who loves dogs, likes to hike, and laso likes to be at home, watching netflix, doing some computer work, etc. Our dogs are used to having someone around most of the day.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We have 3 doodles. Feed and water 2x/day. Walk 1x/day. Pick up poop. Respond to medical needs (take to vet of needed). Sitter will be responsible for taking care of home & alerting us early to anything that needs attention so we can manage it. We may need you to mow the lawn, add chemicals to the hot tub, etc. You may need to interact with contract people for any repairs needed while you are here.

What are the good features of the property and location

4 bedroom, 2 bath. Perfect for a family who wants to explore Boulder. Great location - the backyard borders open space, park, playground, & trails. You can walk to bus that takes you downtown to Pearl St area & connects to other bus routes. Walk to shopping center with Whole Foods, Yoga studio, coffee shop, breakfast / lunch spot, and more.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We will be out of country so we will depend on you to take care of home and pets. You should feel comfortable taking on this responsibility. We will need you to be here every day so you will not be able to take any overnight trips away from the home. Also, the dogs are great and get along great, but 3 dogs is "a lot" to handle on leash, so you may want to plan for a couple of separate walks. We have booked our ticketsL Depart Denver July 13. Arrive back in Denver Aug 7.
