house sitters for this property would have to be happy to live in the countryside and enjoy all the pleasures of that type of living.
Trish and all her family are very easy going and friendly, they offered us a very warm welcome on arrival at Beechwood. The sitters accommodation is self contained and very comfortable. We have enjoyed the sit for many reasons, with Kiwi the dog being the highlight, she is such a gentle, lovely dog who is easy to keep happy with a couple of walks a day. The joy and delight as she bounces around in anticipation of setting off on a walk around the property makes her very endearing. The chores & tasks are not onerous, there is a lot of flexibility and you can make and manage your own routine. Communication, when necessary, with Trish & Christine was always good and they always responded really quickly. Beechwood is in a lovely rural location, but within an hour in any directions we were able to explore and walk stunning beaches and mountains and see so much of Ireland, which really is beautiful
We looked after this property and the beautiful Kiwi, the border collie for 3 months. We received a warm welcome on arrival and over the next few days a run through of operations, as well comprehensive written instructions. Care of the property was a relatively easy task and Trish or Christine were always contactable. Trim is a beautiful central location in close proximity to a lot of historical sites as well as beautiful scenery. The people are also very helpful and friendly. We fell in love with Kiwi, who is a gentle old soul and we enjoyed exploring Ireland with her often taking her on drives around the countryside with us. Otherwise she was happy to have her 2 walks a day and potter around the property while we did upkeep or take up residence in our campervan. Would be happy to housesit again.
I spent three months petsitting two gorgeous K9 friends in Trim for Trish and her family. I had a great time! I felt like everyone was very friendly, the animals were incredibly lovable, and the setting divine. I enjoyed the rural setting and the accommodations provided very much. The town of Trim is beautiful, and I am so glad I got to spend so much time there as it is a really wonderful place. I missed the dogs very much when I left, and also had many good times with Christine! Thanks a bunch for the opportunity.
Veronica and I stayed at Trish and William's property for almost 3 months in 2016. We were delighted with the welcome, the accommodation, the property, and the lovely dogs. There is plenty to see in the local villages, and Trim particularly, with its castle, and history. The dogs were always ready for their twice a day walks, and were happy to adopt us as their own, and any jobs that required doing around the property, they were happy to tag along. It is a beautiful setting, with well established gardens and lawns. We have no hesitation in recommending this assignment. Michael
