A house sitter must have the joy and ambition to look after the house, the animals and the property. He must be aware of and value the owner's trust in the house sitter. Just to rake care of housesitters do with their own house.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter's duties include looking after the house and Yard with all animals. With the different seasons, such as summer and winter, the tasks also change.

What are the good features of the property and location

It's a wonderful place in nature with panoramic views of the city.. In about 15 minutes by car, tram or bus, you could be downtown in old part (Hauptplatz) of the city. There is a public service, tram or bus, which you reach after 15 walking time. For groceries shopping you could need a taxi for coming back. If possible you should have your own car.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Couples have felt always comfortable here, even in retirement. It's very quiet there, but with farming there is always something to do, summer and winter. Winter in south of Austria are not very snowy. There is central heating in the house (prepared wood and coal) which keeps the house cosy warm.
There are beautiful hiking trails directly from the house and property.
There are fenced pastures with sheep huts and feeding racks for the sheep (currently there are 12 sheep). In winter the sheep are in a stable with paddock next to the house.
Two turtles have their own outdoor area in summer. The two hibernate from October to April.
There are 2 female dogs, but housesitter (dog-lovers) only need to take care for about 3 weeks in December or January by arrangement.
The house has a modern kitchen with dishwasher etc, a dining room and living room with a terrace. The bathroom with (walk in) shower and toilet can be reached from the hallway. On the upper floor is the guest room for the housesitter. There is good Internet in the house
