April 2026: 13 year old Basset Hound

About this assignment

I am looking for a dog friendly house sitter. I am a travel nurse, and my basset hound is getting up there in age, and prefers to stay at home.

I'd love for someone to stay with him while I go away. He requires little work and is okay to stay a workday alone.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Watch over the house and most importantly my dog. I have a few house plant that require some water. Otherwise, no yard work, outside of snow shoveling.

What are the good features of the property and location

A whole house in the middle of Baden. It's only 15 min from Ira Needles. Internet, laundry, quiet neighbours. Hiking trails close by. And of course friendly pup.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must love dogs!

Hudson is a shedding dog, and people with allergies do say, they can get quite bad when they are around him. But he is super friendly, a little dramatic at times, but can be easily bribed with cuddles, pets, and treats.

Can I bring my own pets?
