Take care of the property, including regular maintenance of the swimming pool, minor repairs, and above all watering and care of our new food forest. We also hope that our vegetable garden will be more successful with regular attention.

The property is isolated, 7 km from the village by track and mountain road, 5 km from the nearest neighbour. The property is 12 hectares, of which about 4 are cultivated, situated in hundreds of hectares of natural forest. The house is a very attractive 400-year old bergerie with old stone walls.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You need to be self-sufficient and happy to stay in a relatively remote location. Bringing your own vehicle, while not essential, is strongly advised. Some knowledge and experience of solar power systems and gardening would be an advantage. There is no wi-fi, but you can get a reasonable 4g signal on your own phone (good enough to watch movies for example) There are no animals to care for
