About this assignment

Hi there, we are looking for a stable couple or individual who is able to keep somewhat regular hours while staying at our house. We have a fully functional kitchen for those who like to cook and a comfortable backyard.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Looking after our dog, keeping the house and garden tidy, taking the trash out, bringing in packages and mail, and occasional garden watering duties, as well as keeping in touch with us to let us know the dog is ok. Diego's mostly a couch potato but he usually needs a walk a day. He enjoys hanging out in our beachy backyard and lazing around his bedroom and living room.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are central to almost all desired destinations within San Diego city boundaries. 18min to the worldclass SD Zoo, 15min to Balboa Park, 20min to Ocean or Mission Beach and Coronado Island or Seaport Village, 15min to Gaslamp Quarter and Little Italy downtown SD, 30min to all La Jolla attractions.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Nightly presence is required as Diego needs a human to ensure he is in at night and let out in the morning. We have a dog door that needs to be closed around 9pm and reopened anytime between 6-9am. We are asking to provide a criminal background check , non smoker preferred and we are hoping to find someone who really loves dogs.
