House in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm in the Hallertau area

About this assignment

I am looking for a animal friendly person, who enjoys being in a smaller town . Due to the location, it would be great if you can drive, however most normal things are reachable by foot, bus or train.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

You would be required to feed, play with, clean up after and love my two cats. Furthermore, I have a mid-sized dog (25kg), who loves long walks and play time, who you would be expected to look after as well. There are also a few potted plants, which would be happy for some water every now and then.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a duplex with 5 rooms, about 160 m2 (1800sf) in size, over 3 stories. It has three bathrooms, including two walk in showers and a bath tub, as well as a bedroom, a living room including a large kitchen, a small guest room and two offices. There is also a large balcony for you to use. We only recently moved in, so we will update with more photos, and are also happy to provide more pictures or a video room tour if you are interested.

The house is located about a 10 min walk from the main square in Pfaffenhofen. It was built in 2022, so everything is quite new. There are a few walking trails around, in general it's not far to go into either nature or into the city. Pfaffenhofen is a great smaller sized city, with many restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. The nearest train station to Munich is around 1,8km away, and reachable either by foot, bus, bike or car.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our dog loves long walks, so it would be great if you enjoy being outdoors.

Preferably, you can work from home during house sitting, since our dog is usually never alone for more than 4-5 hours. It is possible for him to go to dog day care for single day if necessary.

Can I bring my own pets?
