About this assignment
We are looking for a single person or couple who would like to live in our house and look after our dogs. We have 3 dogs that need to be walked extensively 2 times a day. Our dogs love to play and love to be stroked and cuddled. It is important that you already have experience with dogs and an affinity for them.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Our dogs love to sleep late, but they want to be fed by 08.30 at the latest and then they love to go for a walk. They can be alone for a maximum of 4 hours as they are used to being with us. In the late afternoon around 16.00h they need their second walk. But... they also love a third walk.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our detached house is located in the hills of Mijas and offers a direct, beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. On the one hand, we live in a very rural area, ideal for long walks, and on the other hand, it is only an 8-minute drive to the nearest town, La Cala de Mijas, which is located directly on the Mediterranean coast.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Our dogs need loving and experienced dog sitters who enjoy taking them on long walks every day to explore the area. They also need lots of cuddles.

Idyllic Sit

Wonderful house sit up in the mountains
We've just completed our house sit for Solveig and Rudolf. Their cosy house is located in very beautiful surroundings in the Spanish mountains. The three dogs were such delightful, happy personalities and they were so very easy to look after. So, we spent a lovely time at their house and they kindly took us to our next place of lodgings, too. We can heartily recommend them, if you feel like dog sitting in a splendid place with friendly dogs.

Haussit mit Meerblick und drei entzückenden Hundedamen
Solveig und Rudolf haben uns in Ihr schönes Haus mit Pool und Meerblick eingeladen um auf Ihre „ Mädels“ aufzupassen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit mit ihnen, Spass auf den morgendlichen Spaziergängen, beim kuscheln auf dem Sofa oder einfach nur im Pool zu relaxen. Ihre 3 Hündinnen sind sehr unterschiedlich vom Charakter und trotzdem wollen sie am liebsten zusammen sein. Die Kommunikation mit Solveig und Rudolf war von Anfang bis Ende sehr gut, Ihr Haus war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Wir können den Haussit nur empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Alles Gute für Euch 5 🤓.
