About this assignment

I am looking for a retired couple with a genuine love of animals, especially dogs as I have 5 border collies and who would love to have a relaxing get away on a 20 acre rose farm. I need someone who would love to stay in a 120 year old federation farmhouse and would take care of my home and animals.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mainly the responsibilities are keeping my dogs company as they love people and keeping them and one cat well fed. My 5 alpacas are fed pellets daily also. Also perhaps some mowing if need be on one of the three ride on mowers and watering the vegetables gardens which are only small.

What are the good features of the property and location

My farm is on Rollands Plains Rd which is a tar road and we are 30 minutes from Port Macquarie and 25 mins to Wauchope. There is a local service station with small shop only 10 mins away. My farm is very private with no neighbours in sight. There is a lovely pool, air-conditioning, two open fires and a glass conservatory, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house has pressed metal ceilings and walls and beautiful hardwood floors.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

House sitters would need to be animal lovers and like old houses. Ideally a bit of farm knowledge and a love of the outdoors.
