About this assignment
A responsible individual or couple who could deal with an emergency should it occur. They should love spending time with our 3 cats, who are, of course very individual.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed and groom 3 cats, one only eats raw food, and has his own special freezer.
The Main Coon has probiotic drops by mouth once a day. He loves them! Not a problem if you do not do this every day, he is not always around!
Some watering of greenhouse and baskets, outside hoses.
Ensure that the house gates are always closed to prevent dogs getting in.
What are the good features of the property and location
A beautiful 14th Century village in lovely countryside with many footpaths. Village pub serving food and real ales. Easy to manage house with modern kitchen, steam shower in bathroom, infra red sauna and exercise bike and treadmill all available for your use. Good WiFi boosted throughout the house.
All grocery providers deliver here.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
You do need your own transport , there are no village shops.
The phone signal is only O2 (EE can only be found uphill from the house)
Can I bring my own pets?

It was a delight to stay in Ann and Tim's lovely cottage, with a beautiful large garden, in a quiet pretty village with three cats to care for. Ann and I contacted each other via Whatsapp messaging before and during the sit,and Ann's response to my enquiries was always prompt and helpful, Each cat was different in size, character,breed, temperment, and with its own personal dietry requirements. We all got along happily after one day of getting to know each other. The cats had free access to all rooms (except my bedroom) and in and out of the cottage and I learned their own time table and habits easily. The cottage was easy to maintain and Ann was generous with her delicious home made simnel cake and jams. There are many pretty villages nearby and lots of gentle places to walk and explore. Beautiful Cats in a Beautiful Home
I was fortune to spend a few days with Brio, Tessa and Tiffy in Ann''s beautiful home. Lovely little village with amenities not far off. Ann provided very clear instructions and there was nothing that wasnt covered in her instructions. An absolute pleasure spending time with the Brio and the girls.

Wonderful Countryside Sit with Three Lovely Cats
Ann and Paul were wonderful hosts! Their countryside cottage in Stoke Goldington is peaceful and charming, with a cozy interior, a beautiful, spacious garden, and plenty of green space around for relaxing walks. They were friendly and welcoming, and their communication was clear and helpful, making expectations easy to follow. Their three cats were an absolute joy to look after -- each with their own personality, affectionate and fun to spend time with. It was a pleasure caring for them and being part of their little routines. I’d happily recommend any future sitter to accept this assignment. A great experience all around!
