About this assignment

Chewy and Piper are both very gentle, house trained and, are super easy going. They just eat one meal at night around 5/6 pm. Take them out a few times to do their business and they will practically adopt you!

Our dogs will just need food 1x a day (night), water, pee breaks and lots of love. We have a gated backyard you can let them out into, but with them being small and us being near the woods, we ask you don’t leave them out alone so a predator doesn’t get to them.

If you leave for a while they are used to being left in the sunroom at the front of the house (weather permitting) If you are gone for over 5 hours, it is a good idea to take them out as soon as you get home to pee, but they really are super easy going.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Loving on and taking care of the pups in the house. They are so easy going, eat once a day and are content with or without walks as long as they go out often.

In our home you will have access to the full house, there is a main room with a queen bed. An additional office/guest room with a twin bed and a children’s room with a child bed.

We have off street parking with a garage if needed, as well as a fenced backyard. We have a home security system & we will share that information with you.

We are open to singles, families and travelers with their own pets.

We work up to 8 hour days in the office some days so 8ish hours alone are doable to them as long as you take them out before and after!


We bought an old home that we are upgrading room by room, but everything works well, and is comfortable to stay in.

We are a mile to the nearest grocery store. There is public bus transit at the top of our street, Although, this location is best for those with their own transport.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

If you are comfortable and prepared to care for two small pups. They are easy going, but we of course want to be sure they are loved on.
