Grimaud, near St Tropez, small country house and 1 dogs. Christmas 2026

About this assignment

I am looking for a dog loving person to replace me for days from mid December 2026 to mid January 2027. I would be going to stay with my daughter in Dubai. . I have a sweet rescue dog who has obviously had a horrid time of it. She has a bad case of separation anxiety She is somewhere north of 6. Lily is very smart and loves a routine. She has a tracker but I n3ver have to look at it. She loves attention. She has a horrid back story including, I suspect, beatings with a belt.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Looking after the Lily is the most important thing, she love walks I have a fair sized garden, so weather permitting, she is outside a lot. A gardener comes once a week but any one who was interested would find things to do.

What are the good features of the property and location

In a beautiful countryside location near the old village of Grimaud, the house is set amongst vineyards. Half an acre of land, Sunny, south facing terrace. 15k from St Tropez. 15 mins from beaches.
Spare bedroom has 6ft bed and ensuite bathroom. Wifi 20mgb, full Sky TV with Sports and Movie channels, Netflix and Prime subscriptions. .

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Ideally I would like to find a couple who are European and therefore no visa problems. I would like to be able to travel to visit family and establish a good relationship with people who would like to make a few trips a year to the south of France. I would be comfortable with another dog visiting but no cats!
