About this assignment
Someone who has previous experience with cats, who is respectful to the neighbours, can keep the place tidy and sends cat pictures on a daily basis.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Sitter's responsibilities would be: Cuddling the cats, making sure they have food and water, cleaning their toilet, playing with them, and keeping the apartment safe, clean and tidy.
What are the good features of the property and location
Great location: U-bahn and S-bahn station, as well as all major grocery shops (Lidl, Edeka, Rewe) are reachable in about 5-7 walking minutes.
It would take you 5 minutes by train to Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and 20 minutes by train to the airport.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The apartment is available between 20 December and 4 January, which is an ideal last minute opportunity to experience the local Christmas markets.
We would come back to spend 1 night at the apartment between 29 and 30 December and would take the cats with us until 4 January.
Please only apply if you are available for the keys handover latest on the 20 December in the morning, and can stay until at least the 29 December.

Schon das Vorgespräch lief sehr gut und angenehm ab. Dann wurde ich von Anja sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlte mich von der ersten Minute an wohl. Kurz nach meiner Ankunft gab es erstmal was zu Essen, bei dem wir uns dann auch ein wenig besser kennenlernen konnten. Die Wohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet. Interessant war für mich auch der „kleine Helfer“ in Form eines Saugroboters. Anja hat sich sehr viel Mühe mit der Vorbereitung gemacht, was für mich eine große Hilfe gewesen ist. Sie hat alles, was sowohl die Katzen als auch die Wohnung betrifft, aufgeschrieben. Es gab sogar für mich viele Tipps, was man sich in der Nähe anschauen kann, oder wo man mal günstig essen gehen kann. Es war wirklich eine tolle Vorbereitung. Die zwei Katzen waren sehr lieb und pflegeleicht, somit war auch die Betreuung von den beiden unkompliziert. Sie sind wirklich sehr ruhige verschmuste Tiere, die mir viel Freude gemacht haben. Es war für mich eine tolle Zeit, ich komme gerne wieder, Danke! Even the preliminary consultation was very good and pleasant. I was then warmly welcomed by Anja and felt at ease from the very first minute. Shortly after my arrival, we had something to eat, which allowed us to get to know each other a little better. The flat was very nicely furnished. I was also interested in the ‘little helper’ in the form of a robot vacuum cleaner. Anja put a lot of effort into the preparation, which was a great help for me. She wrote down everything that concerned both the cats and the flat. She even gave me lots of tips on what to see in the neighbourhood or where to go for a cheap meal. It was really great preparation. The two cats were very sweet and easy to care for, so looking after them was also uncomplicated. They really are very calm, cuddly animals that gave me a lot of pleasure. It was a great time for me, I would love to come back, thank you!
