Cute Bungalow in Walking Distance to Downtown

About this assignment

I am hoping for someone to care for my 15-year-old Chihuahua mix. She needs pills two times a day and to be encouraged to go outside before bedtime and when it is raining outside. We have a dog door, so just one short walk on a leash around the block in the morning.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Just Meela and one house plant. Meela is a wonderful girl and not much trouble except for needing pills twice a day. She is old and has smelly breath, but we hope you will love her anyway.

What are the good features of the property and location

The property is easy walking distance to restaurants, the Eno Mountain Trail, the Riverwalk, Gold Park and a one mile walk or bike to downtown where there is a food co-op, the library and more restaurants, art galleries, etc. The house is 20 minutes to Duke University, 20 minutes to UNC University, 15 minutes to downtown Durham and generally a vibrant part of North Carolina. It is clean and has a wonderful front porch.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You must sleep at the house and not go on trips while pet sitting for us. Meela doesn’t need to sleep in bed with you.

Can I bring my own pets?
