About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible family, couple or single person who loves animals and nature. Ideally they would be happy for us to be on the property too as we have a number of short gaps in our holidays. We have two separate annex rooms with ensuites that would house our housesitter/s - sleeps 5 in two rooms. Our home is off grid but its easy to look after and the system is well established.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We need someone to be physically at the property. There is a cat who needs feeding and petting and for one week two dogs who are very easy going, good with children and need food and walking - they can be left for up to five hours so you can go to the beach, shops etc. Day to day there is some garden watering and the maintainence of a small, above ground pool. You would be expected to keep the house and garden clean and tidy.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house and farm is in a totally peaceful and secluded location with incredible views and a 20 minute drive to the local beaches and shops. It is located in an area of specific interest to Catalan culture with amazing hikes and cycling options. We have excellent wifi, all mod cons and an above ground small pool and trampoline. We are abe to supply more photos if needed.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The house is a well maintained off grid property (solar panels, water cisterna) with a steep, rough access road. We have all mod cons including a washing machine and we would go through trouble shooting for any common problems. You would also have the number of a friend to contact if there are any problems. We will return to the property during the requested time but only for short periods.
