I have an adopted chihuahua-Jack Russell mix who needs love, patience, and as many walks as you care to give him. I also have many plants which are in need of looking after while I’m gone. I prefer women, as my dog can be fearful of men (he seems to have had bad experiences in the past). It is best for someone active, as Cai gets separation (from me) anxiety, and might do better if distracted by walks. I also have a 6-month old kitten - a new addition to the family. He requires litter box cleaning and watering/feeding (dry food and treats).
Walk and feed Cai and hopefully keep my plants alive. Three walks a day are typical, usually with one longer one where we go to a dog-friendly breakfast spot, bar or beach. It is the law here to carry soapy water and clean up after your dog pees. He eats only wet food and only when he’s hungry, though he almost always likes treats.
I live 10 minutes walking from two beaches. Cai loves to walk on the beach, though he doesn't appreciate water. My apartment is in a historic building in the medieval city center but completely renovated with an elevator, a private rooftop with views of the beautiful cathedral, bathtub, smart tv, WiFi, washing machine. The city has 3,000 years of history, a Roman theater, a buzzing marketplace, bars, restaurants, and flamenco music. By car, catamaran, train or bus, one can access Sevilla, Cordoba, Jerez, El Puerto de Santa María, Rota, Tarifa - even Gibraltar!
My dog is very sweet but fearful of many other dogs and some men and children. He loves walks and yummy food and just needs a friendly, calm presence to feel comfortable. He often wants to greet other dogs but suddenly becomes frightened and barks. He rarely barks at home. He is very cute, which attracts attention, but in general, we avoid contact with strangers due to his nervous nature. Someone experienced with sensitive, reactive dogs would be ideal.
No, sorry.

Kay & Cia adventures
I spent 3 wonderful weeks exploring the this amazing but confusing city with my side kick Cia. The apartment was lovely, comfortable and unique. There was a private roof terrace with great views. Situated right in the middle of the old town and in walking distance to all the sights it was a perfect base. Cia, the wee dog, has a large personality which can be complex at times. His anxiety can be mistaken for aggression rather than fear. So a lot of patience is required to sit him, but it is repaid with lots of cuddles and his cheaky chappie personality
