About this assignment

We will traveling for family and work this summer for couple months. My partner will remain at home for part of that time and then join me. We had been considering a “workaway” or “volunteer” as rhete are things that would be helpful to have extra hands on. It would be ideal to incorporate that need with someone to sit the house and care for the critters and plants.
As we are a rural home in Donegal, Ireland, having their own transport would be ideal. Obviously trustworthy, dependable, meet and tidy and organized, etcetc…are all needed!
General “fix it”/maintenance skills a Plus.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Keeping the house and outside areas clean and orderly. Tending and feeding critters. Plant care. And some help with ongoing projects that we are working on.

What are the good features of the property and location

Very Traditional Stone Farmhouse Mini Estate. Annex and Lodge. Private. Gated. Peaceful. Surrounded by beautiful Donegal wooded landscape, lake. Ireland.
15&10 minutes to local villages and shipping. Music Studio.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Having your own transport is essential. English fluency.
This is a very private and quiet, rural setting. Shops and pubs, beaches, within reasonable driving distance, but applicants with no transport not accepted.
Knowledge of pet care.
