House and Pet Sitter in Downtown Wilmington, NC

About this assignment

We're looking for someone to take care of our home and small parrot. Our ideal sitter(s) would be a non-smoking retired person or couple who would enjoy spending time with our bird in downtown Wilmington.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The sitter will need to feed and water our parrot, water some plants, and just generally keep an eye on things. Parrot experience is required.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is an historic 1912 neoclassic revival style house in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. We're located 3 blocks from the Wilmington riverwalk, 4 blocks from the shops and restaurants of Front Street, and 2 blocks from the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge. If the beach is your thing, we're only a 15-minute drive from Carolina Beach and 20-minutes from Wrightsville Beach.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our 29-year-old parrot, C-Ko is very easy to care for. She just needs to have her cage covered at night, uncovered during the day, and needs to be fed and watered twice a at said, we do require the sitter to have experience with taking care of parrots.
