Flat in Barcelona with 2 cats

About this assignment

Looking for an animal lover to enjoy our apartment in central Barcelona and take care of our two 1-year old cats.
We are expecting a respectful and organized sitter to treat our house and pets as their own, and willing to communicate often (we like a daily pic!)
Honesty is important for us, i.e. if something breaks or there is an issue, send us a message

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed the cats wet food 3 times a day, around 9am, 3pm and 9pm
Clean water fountain once a week
Keep 2 litter trays often, at least a couple times a day
Spend time with cats and not leave them alone for more than 8 hours
One play session with cats (wand) as they have a lot of energy, everyone will sleep better!
Unlimited snuggles! (they will ask for it)
Keep an eye on the windows, (not open fully) and close them before leaving the house. They all have nets but the cats can get too curious.
Return house clean and organized, as found on arrival (floors vacuumed, surfaces wiped…)

What are the good features of the property and location

We are a couple living in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in Gracia, a lively neighborhood in Barcelona full of cafes, amazing food and shops, very well connected by metro, train and bus.
You will have access to the whole house, except my bedroom and bathroom:
- Your bedroom and own bathroom, plus some storage space (drawers, hangers).
- 2 working spaces and high speed wifi, as we work remotely.
- Fully equipped kitchen (airfryer, espresso machine)
- Washing machine and drying area.
- Heating, A/C in living room and fans

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Looking for someone experienced with cats, willing not to leave them alone for more than 8 hours
Ideally, sitters open to stay one day before we leave for a quick introduction, and one day after we arrive, in case of flight changes!
No guests or parties allowed, important to respect the neighbors :)
We expect someone to return the house as they found it, clean and organized.

Can I bring my own pets?
