About this assignment
**Dates are flexible +/- a few days!**
Hi! I am looking for someone to keep my cat and plants company while I'm out of town. I have a sweet kitty named Bryce who needs to be fed twice a day and kept company while I'm away.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
+ Please feed Bryce a half can of wet food twice a day, at around 7am and 7pm
+ Please send me a quick picture of Bryce twice a day after she receives her meal :)
+ Provide fresh water as needed
+ Attend to the litter boxes as needed. There are two traditional boxes and an automated box in the bathroom. I scoop the traditional boxes once a day.
+ Water the plants once a week, or more often if they are wilting (some are more dramatic than others)
+ Bring in any packages that arrive while I'm away.
+ Light cleaning to prevent the apartment turning into one giant litter box - kitty litter can get everywhere.
What are the good features of the property and location
+ Amazing location in West Highlands, walking distance to great restaurants, bars and breweries on 32 street and Tennyson street. I'll share a list of some of my favorites!
+ 25 minute drive from hikes in the foothills, and it's easy to get on the highway to make the most of the mountains. I'll also share some recommendations for nearby hikes or skiing :)
+ Easy access to downtown
+ The apartment itself is spacious and gets great natural light from two floor-to-ceiling windows
+ Balcony to enjoy nice weather!
I love living here, and would love for someone to enjoy it while I'm away
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Just need to be comfortable with cats and able to be at the apartment in mornings and evenings to provide meals. I am also flexible +/- a few days on dates - let me know if a slight adjustment would make this work for you and we can discuss to see if we can work something out.

We loved house sitting for Meg and spending time with Bryce and Sequoia! Meeting Meg was a great experience. She's very interesting and enthusiastic about her travel adventures and her love for her pleasant cats. Her apartment is a lovely place to enjoy relaxing. It's decorated beautifully and felt like a home away from home as I could relate to so many of her possessions. She communicated reliably, left detailed instructions, and keeps a tidy and organized home. We loved the cats! Sequoia is a sweet kitty who likes to spend her time alone until it's time to eat! Giving her insulin injections was a breeze, as she's used to it as a part of eating. Bryce is so very cuddly! She will want your love and attention at the end of the day on the couch. They both love to keep you company while you eat too which is pretty funny. The surrounding neighborhood is convenient and fairly quiet. We didn't explore too much besides the grocery stores because we got caught up enjoying cooking in the kitchen and lounging in the living room and on the balcony 🤣 but it's a cool area to be in. We're sure you'll enjoy your time house sitting for Meg just like we did!
