About this assignment
Please note:for safety and personal preference, this opportunity is open EXCLUSIVELY for solo female travelers. Application from men or couple will not be considered.The house sitter must be responsible, respectful of silence: no noise or music until 8 a.m. on weekdays and until 10 a.m. on public holidays; from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and silence after 10 p.m. Do not waste water and elecricity. Always lock the door when going out. Do not organise house parties and do not let other people in. If you do laundry, don't let the washing drip onto the balcony.
Keep the house clean and tidy. Throw out your rubbish after 6 p.m. by sorting it.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Give food twice a day, humid and water, clean all pots and clean the littery. Cuddling and spending at least 5/6 hours a day with the cat.
What are the good features of the property and location
The flat is close the seaside, quite 10 minutes by walk. In quite 30 minutes walking you are in the old town, the center of Bari, but there are buses going there. The flat has two balconies, it' s full of solar light. You have wifi, hot water. There is not tv.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
It is not possible organize parties and it is important to be respectful of neighbors. Silent time before 8 a.m. , 2-4 p.m, and after 10.00 p.m. No shoes with heels in the apartament, no smoke inside.

A lovely home and the sweetest company
My experience with María Rosa and Teti was wonderful, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first house sit on MindMyHouse. From the very beginning, communication with Maria Rosa was easy and warm. She was always very attentive, both before my arrival and throughout my stay, making sure everything was going well and checking if I needed anything. When I arrived, she explained everything I needed to know about the house and the area, and we stayed in touch throughout my stay, sharing photos of Teti and checking in on each other. Teti is a lovely cat. She needed a few days to feel comfortable with me, but once she did, we developed a beautiful bond. Since I work remotely, she kept me wonderful company during the day and, after a few days, she even started waking me up and coming to me for cuddles. I think, in the end, she kept me company just as much as I kept her company. The house is very comfortable, bright and spacious, with good ventilation and several terraces where Teti can enjoy herself. It is also very well located, close to the train and the beach, and to the Bari Center too, within walking distance. I’m especially grateful because this was my first experience on MindMyHouse, and it couldn’t have been better. I take away a really lovely experience and would absolutely recommend María Rosa—and would happily look after Teti again.

A healing place
Some house sits are simply about caring for a home and a pet. This one became much more than that. Maria is a warm, generous, and open-hearted person who made me feel welcome from the very beginning. Her home is peaceful and comfortable, and looking after sweet Teti was a real pleasure. Beyond the practical side of the sit, I truly appreciated the meaningful conversations and the time and meals we spent together. I returned home with beautiful memories and genuine gratitude. I would happily recommend Maria to any sitter and would love to visit her again one day.
