About this assignment

One Soulful Human for temporary fur-filled enlightenment. Location: Central Oregon where the air is fresh and the animal wisdom is deep. I’m looking for a kind, trustworthy individual to care for my fav furries. No pay exchange but full access to a lovely space and resort amenities, perfect for someone writing, or desiring hiking, sporting activities, drinking tea in the sun or building an Etsy empire.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities: Must love animals, be tidy and feel resonance with this type of exchange. You’ll be entrusted with Bodhi, a noble husky mix who’s basically a four-legged Zen master with a hint of coyote. Tao, a feline mystic who may or may not be running a secret galactic council from the back patio.

Added responsibilities will be walking the zen master or taking him to the dog park, cuddle Tao - Bodhi too, he loves to be the center, water and talk to my plants, and pick up my mail, all the while living in a full time vacation destination.

What are the good features of the property and location

The location is cuddled next to the Cascade mountain range with tons of hiking, canoeing, and water sports and in the winter skiing. At my personal location I have everything a resort can offer from pickleball and tennis, three indoor workout facilities, three swimming pools, golf, and miles of walking and/or bike trails. The resort is located between two small towns ripe for basic essentials, nice restaurants, boutiques, movie theater, tons of live music and great artistic community events. The weather is drier on the east side of the mountains so the weather here is generally good and the fall is beautiful.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

*Quiet, nourishing resort environment eight miles from town.
* No pay exchange, but full access to resort amenities.
* You’ll be responsible for transportation. I would highly recommend a car rental, though the resort does have a shuttle service and Redmond has a good bus service as well as Uber and Lyft.
*Food delivery is also available.
*There are two restaurants/bars on property.
*No rent, just animal cuddles and quiet beauty.
*Compensation: A thousand thank-yous, an upgraded energy vibe and the joy of a new adventure.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: If they get along with my cat.
