About this assignment
Someone who loves animals (especially dogs), is kind, helpful and proactive. You will need to be relatively fit as Indi loves a walk, but 15 minutes or so is perfect for her. She won't say no to a long walk anywhere though!!
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Indi needs walking once a day for about 10-15 minutes, we do this in the morning after breakfast.
She is a very quiet and sensible dog and will happily cuddle up on the sofa with you for the rest of the day.
We are happy that you use our car to travel and see the area if you hold a U.K. or European licence. If you hold a different licence (such as an International licence) then insurance is more tricky (but potentially possible)
Indi can happily be left for upto 4/5 hours which gives you plenty of time to explore the north coast.
What are the good features of the property and location
We live in a very quiet area which is very close to the beaches of the north coast of Northern Ireland.
We have three bedrooms and it is very easily maintained house as we do a lot of travelling ourselves.
In the winter we have a great firewood and coal stove which keeps the house very warm and cosy with minimal effort.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We are very experienced housesitters ourselves and know the importance of flexibility, great communication as well as the responsibilities involved in looking after loved furry friends.
Can I bring my own pets?

Pleasure from start to finish

Loved Indi!
Paula and Adam were hugely welcoming with tea and cakes and were clear and complete in their instructions. Everything was ready for us as expected and we encountered no problem. Contact was frequent and positive. Indi is a delightful dog who traveled with us easily almost everywhere we went and was always well-behaved. Indi, Paula and Adam What a Trio!
Indi! Paula!and Adam! What can I say! What a delightful Trio! Indi a gentle affectionate rescue dog who loves lots of love and attention but not a demanding pet to care for! Just a pleasure to spend time with. Paula and Adam the lovely lucky couple to own her made me feel so very welcome into their lovely comfortable easily managed home with a tasty meal to welcome me on my arrival. Who were very supportive to me if I needed to contact them whilst they were away. So looking forward to going back to sit for them in the beautiful area that they live with public transport on their doorstep!
