We would like to retain someone who is thoughtul and responsible. They should also be willing to water the plants and keep things clean and tidy.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We have houseplants and plants in the front and back of the house. They will need occasional watering unless we get a good amount of rain. We'll also expect our sitter to take out the garbage and recycling weekly, and bring in the mail.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our house is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with lots of families. We're two blocks from the bus stop and 4 blocks from a popular commercial district. The BART (metro) station is 1.5 miles away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are hoping our sitter will be able to stay in our house for the entire 2 month period we are away on a trip.
