A kind, patient sitter experienced with timid, people-shy dogs & cats.
Someone who will leave my home as it was when they arrived… clean & organized..

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

All pets are fed a raw diet. Cats' food is homemade & frozen; Everyone eats twice a day.
No meds are required.. Kits are meticulous about their toilet & demand their boxes are scooped daily.

Sadie would love a daily walk to sniff and explore...30 minutes is fine unless sitter wants to go longer. She is used to a 6-10km walk every 2 days The water fountain can be topped up as needed. Sadie's water bucket & fountain is filled as needed in the garage.
Only small plants inside will need water. Garden flowers will need to be monitored for water in September. NA in winter.
Garbage is put out for pickup every second Tuesday.
Details re potential of snow to be discussed for winter.
Summer: no grass to mow.
House will be left clean; would like to return as same.

What are the good features of the property and location

The home is actually in Cardiff Echoes, a subdivision in the hamlet of Cardiff 5 minutes fro Morinville, a town with a population of 10,775.
Very clean & well organized home - open, bright & comfortable situated in a rural community in a subdivision of about 200 homes within walking distance to Cardiff Park, an undiscovered gem with a small lake, walking trails - perfect for walks, cross country skiing & snowshoeing in the winter. Dog park, as well, Snowshoeing available at the golf course. Extremely quiet; ). Very nice trails in park.
Morinville has two supermarkets & basic needs, a Boston Pizza, Macdonald's & fitness leisure centre, churches of most denominations, . 12 minutes from a Costco at the other end of the city of St,. Albert (population 72,000 & all the amenities & 20 minutes from the northeast end of Edmonton.
Backyard is a private, peaceful oasis with a fire pit & covered gazebo with a patio table & lights
Very safe community
The leisure centre in Morinville has a track, drop in classes and a weight room. St. Albert is a self contained city.
Sitter is welcomed to use residence vehicle if needed as no public transportation.
For walkers,, Volksport has 3 clubs in the area with regular weekly scheduled group walks.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

There is NO public transportation but I am offering the use of my vehicle if sitter has a valid drivers licence and insurance.
I do expect my home to be left in the same state as when I left.
And most important the sitter is experienced with shy dogs… Sadie is 12, sweet and takes time to trust her human. There will be one extremely shy soft natured kind kind as well.
