Wonderful animals and beautiful house and setting!
Suzanne met us at Basel airport and was immediately welcoming. She even had a delicious dinner waiting for us after our journey from our previous pet-sit. Due to scheduling constraints on our part, we only had one full day together for Suzanne to explain how to take care of the animals. She was very clear and precise and we had no trouble following her directions and keeping to the animals' routines once she left. Suzanne was also very responsive if we had questions or when something came up while she was gone. The house is beautifully situated with easy access to villages and surrounded with forests and beautiful trails. Basel is about an hour away and makes for a great day trip. The house itself is ample, comfortable and peaceful with amazing views of Switzerland. Zeus, Flora and Ashlyn are all well trained and were a joy to be around. They have plenty of space to roam freely during the day and they all get taken for a long daily walk. There are plenty of choices for trails to either just walk to or drive to nearby. Zeus is an energetic and playful boy who loves his toys and sticks and is very affectionate and takes his medication and baths well. Flora is independent, fearless and a little cheeky and loves a good cuddle. She is the only one who has to be on a leash during longer walks because she loves to explore the woods. Ashlyn, the gentle giant, is an utter sweetheart and loves nothing better than to be brushed and pampered. She is an amazing communicator and gently tells you what she needs. Saana, the cat, is also extremely affectionate, gets along well with all of the dogs and loves to cuddle on the couch at the end of the day. We spent a week with Suzanne after she returned and had a great time. She is an excellent host and is very warm hearted and generous. We highly recommend pet-sitting for her wonderful animals and really hope to come back someday!

Lot of pets , lot of love!
Taking care of Suzanne’s pets was very nice, they are all lovely 🥰 We arrived 1 week before Suzanne had to leave, so we had the time to get to know each other, everything about the house and the pets and ask all the questions. It really has been very helpful since there were many things to keep in mind. We’ve spent a month surrounded by the love of the dogs and the cat, in a really beautiful place!! We really recommend to stay at Suzanne’s and enjoy the company of Ashlyn, Saana, Flora and Zeus!!
