About this assignment

I am looking for a quiet and clean cat lover to kiss my cat on the head and tell him he's a good boy for a month while I'm away.
I fostered Milo since he was a little cute scared kitten with a rat-like tail. I wasn't planning on adopting him, but as you can imagine he manipulated me into it with his undeniable cuteness, and I was unable to bring him anywhere other than my arms.
I would like someone who will send me pics and videos of him so I can miss him more. I'm Italian and I speak English and Spanish.
Women only, no couples or families.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

My house sitter will only have to take care of my 1 year old cat Milo: feed him, clean his litter box at least twice a day and play with him 2/3x per day (plenty of toys at your disposal)
Of course, I would appreciate someone respectful of my apartment, who would keep it clean and odorless as it is now

What are the good features of the property and location

it's a comfortable 70 square mts 25 min away from chaotic Barcelona. The train stop is 2 min walking from the property. Very calm and family oriented neighborhood.
Its not Barcelona but you have everything at walking distance. A pharmacy in the corner, a minimarket in the same road (1 min walking) 2 proper markets and a Clarel the street below mine (4 min walking). Bars and restaurants

I will gladly share the pics of the apt with anybody interested, it weirds me out sharing my house on the internet XD

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I just want someone who loves cats as their own. Milo is a very sweet cat that loves to be around humans all the time. He will silently follow you everywhere and stay in your presence. (Yes, when you go to the toilet too! XD) he is everything but independent. He likes to play fetch too.
Some days I wake up with a toy near me and Milo by my side. That's the sign he wants to have that toy threw as far as possible so he can retrieve it.
Not sure if he realised he is a cat?

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.

Not sure if Milo realised he is cat?

Hi! I am lucky to be sitting in Simone's apartment in Barcelona with cat Milo at Christmas and New year holidays 2024/2025. Does Milo know he is a cat? He is the cutest cat I have ever met in my life. He is a prince of royal blood, with a huge fluffy tail. He is independent and at the same time social. He follows me everywhere, even to the toilet. Milo loves to play with a small soft ball. But I have never seen a cat brings a ball to be thrown as far as possible, like a dog! Milo often plays in his cat fountain. He is a natural fisherman. He soaks toys, soft balls into the water and brings wet ones to my clothes. Milo, how caring you are (!) , but I can't walk around Barcelona in a wet T-shirt.(!!) , I need to find a dry one.! I will not forget who slapped me with a soft paw so that I would not snore like a tractor, so that the neighbors would not wake up. If you want, I will write a big novel about Milo, like Dostoevsky. I really had a wonderful time in Barcelona during Christmas and New Year. I got to know the traditions and nature of this region. Simona is a wonderful host. She met me at the Barcelona airport by car, cooked different dishes, and communicated with me in a very friendly way. During my stay, I became very attached to Simona, like a best friend! Simona's apartment is located on the northern outskirts of Barcelona, in zone 1. The house has an elevator/lift! The entrance is locked, there is an intercom, so strangers of dubious characters cannot enter the house. The train stop (6 trains) is 2 minutes away. Shops, market, merkat, frutteria (very cheap vegetables and fruits), a pharmacy are all very close. (at the pharmacy I received a pill organizer as a gift!) The street is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. There are many restaurants, bars, cafes, benches for rest around, pensioners rest, no one is in a hurry. The life rhythm of this area of Barcelona is very relaxed. I thank Simone for inviting me to look after my beloved cat Milo and a wonderful apartment. Simone, I felt protected and relaxed in your comfortable apartment. You and Milo became members of my family. You and Milo have taken a part of my heart. The hardest moment is parting with Milo. If someone still needs me to help, I will not hang up my hat, I will still travel. Simona, may your home be full of peace, prosperity and love! I love you and hope to meet you in the future!
