Enjoy San Miguel Allende, walk to center enjoy the sunshine give cuddles to cat clean and tidy responsible and non smoking take care of plants be kind and gracious to Mexican neighbors
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Care for cat and small garden. I want someone home every night keep place clean and tidy. You would need to provide your own food and drink.
What are the good features of the property and location
Walk to center, secure location nice garden sitting area with lime tree. Mexican neighborhood so basic Spanish would be helpful but not necessary,near bus stop but very walkable, good internet
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Walking is on cobblestone streets with stairs and hills so mobility should be considered also there is a parking spot but not vehicle provided, April and May can get quite hot no A/C but good cross

Sweet time in enchanting San Miguel de Allende
By chance we applied for this housesit and sooooo glad we did! Susana was so friendly and positive, we clicked from the beginning Skype chats. She communicated well and outlined all we needed to know before arriving. Once there we had 24 hours to get a great tour of her lovely home, meet little Miss Paulina and were shown the meat and fruit shops, easiest walking paths, etc. Instructions for everything were clearly written down (American TV was a nice break from studying). She had even stocked up on first day items for us, including smooth local coffee - very lovely gesture! 🥰 Located about a block and a half from a bus route, it was super easy to get into the Centro for Spanish classes or to supermarkets - Ubers cost about $4 CDN home. Paulina was very sweet, loved to play and hang out - everything we needed was in Susana’s home and the garden and patio views were just what was needed to rest up from school. San Antonio is a safe and secure neighbourhood so never had any worries. Once a week, a lovely lady comes to clean and leaves floors sparkling… We completely recommend Susana, Paulina and this housesit for anyone dreaming of a visit to San Miguel - we’d gladly return if everyone’s dates align!
