Loving, Experienced & Responsible Dog Sitter Required

About this assignment

I am looking for a responsible, compassionate, and experienced dog sitter who genuinely loves and understands dogs. The ideal candidate will be attentive to my dog’s needs, including feeding, walking, playing, and providing plenty of affection and companionship. It’s important that the sitter is patient, reliable, and able to follow specific care instructions to ensure my dog’s well-being and comfort. Experience with handling staffordshire bullterriers is a plus. Above all, I want someone who will treat my dog as if they were their own, ensuring they feel safe and loved while I’m away

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

You will ideally enjoy;
-Taking Olaf out for a morning play/toilet before breakfast
-Spending time with Olaf in the home, or taking him with you for drives when going to town
-Enjoy walking or playing with him again in the afternoon/after dinner
- Ensure he always has water available and his 2 meals a day
- Enjoy cuddles with him when watching a movie or relaxing at home
-Be able to check on our property and Solar System (5 min drive from our cabin where you will stay with Olaf)
-Always ensure Olaf has his lead or rope on his harness as his recall is not amazing and he is easily distracted

What are the good features of the property and location

Our small 2 bedroom cabin is located in the tranquil orchards. Built with SIP panels it is very comfortable, especially in cooler months. There is a large yard you can enjoy and beautiful views of the mountains.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Please consider how often you will be home with Olaf. He is used to being with us for the majority of his time and we hope to have a sitter who will provide company for him, not leave him home all day alone.
