About this assignment
Someone I can trust to respect my home and give proper care to my cat, Kitty. Someone that is great at communicating and not afraid to ask questions.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Standard cat care responsibilities, including replacing water 1-2x a week, providing dry and wet cat food 1x a day, cleaning out litter boxes 2x a week, and giving the cat light touch attention.
The chickens will need their food and water refilled every week and eggs collected every other day or so.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our 4-bedroom house is located in the heart of downtown Renton, within a 10 minute walk of multiple grocery stores, local & chain restaurants, the Cedar River walking trail, and cute boutique small businesses. Near a large transit center to catch a bus to downtown Seattle, as well! The house has 1 bedroom with a queen bed (primary bedroom), 1 bedroom with a full bed (guest room), a desk areas setup for remote work, and a home gym in the basement. Enjoy an updated kitchen with all appliances and a spacious living room. Even among an urban environment, the house offers a backyard oasis with a fully fenced in yard and a large covered deck.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
It would be preferred that the house sitter has had experience house and cat-sitting in the past. The house sitter is welcome to have a couple friends at the house but please no large gatherings.

Storybook house;one chill kitty,and 5 cool hens
This is a story book house with one chill kitty and five gorgeous hens. First off let me say how much I appreciate Jenna's attention to details in her description of the responsibilities and the way she has set up her house. You can tell that she's a very good mom to both their kids and their animals. She has paid special attentions to her Family's needs, there's a little door in the bathroom where their toys are inside so when they take a shower they have toys they can play with , I mean that's so great! The hens were in a coop that had a self-feeder and watering device so I just checked on the chickens a couple of times a day. You can tell there was a lot of love put into this house and the family that lives there they left the Christmas lights on so I could enjoy it over the holiday it made my holiday really special thank you very much Jenna best wishes in 2026! anyone would feel welcome coming to care for their home and animals.

Great experience in every way!!
Jenna was an absolute delight to sit for! Her home is comfy and quiet, the neighborhood is great, complete with a high walking score and an awesome outdoor mall within a few miles drive. “Kitty” will warm your heart and the chickens were easy to care for and fun to watch while they roamed the yard. Very relaxing environment!! I would welcome the opportunity to help this family with their sitting needs in the future!!
