Someone used to rescue cats who is patient and kind. Hetty (4) is very nervous and Fanac (8) is very odd and needs medication. They both love to be fussed in unique ways.
Feeding and watering the cats 3 times a day. Cleaning their litter tray once a day. Keeping the already clean and tidy apartment free of hair and cat litter with the help of a robot vacuum.
My home is less than 3 minutes walk from Playa del Cristo blue flag beach, which is the best in the area.
It is a duplex apartment of around 100sqm with two sun terraces, surrounded by green space with many mature trees. From the upper floor it has a sea view over the tree tops. The location is off road, so it is quiet and peaceful. There is a first come first served car park and plenty of on-road parking close by.
The property is accessed via its' own external entrance door, so it feels more like a house than an apartment. On the first floor is a large lounge/diner with access to a sun terrace, a double bedroom, shower room and kitchen. On the second floor there is a huge studio/bedroom with ensuite and large roof terrace. There are portable air conditioners and fans on each floor.
There photos are before I moved in, so I will upload some more in a few days.
I used to run a tourist business in the area, so will happily recommend places to visit during your stay.
Estepona has 320 days of sunshine a year. It is warm even in the middle of winter, when temperatures rarely drop below 13 degrees during the day and 5 degrees at night.
All the facilities of Estepona port are within a 10 minute walk. These includes restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and a very pretty marina where boat trips and water sports are available.
Estepona old town, 'The Garden of the Costa Del Sol', is a short walk along the pedestrian promenade. It is full of traditional fisherman's cottages and lined with 16,000 flowerpots. It also has a large range of cafes, restaurants and shops.
Marbella is around 30 minutes away and Malaga just over an hour. There is a good bus service from Malaga airport to Estepona. Gibraltar is around 35 minutes, so it is an easy airport transfer or day trip. Tarifa is nearby where you can catch a ferry to Morocco. There are also other lovely one day trip opportunities to Ronda and Mijas Pueblo.
Nothing in particular if they are experienced sitters. The location, apartment and cats are all fine. The journey from the Gibraltar airport is also easy and quick. From Malaga it takes a little longer.
No, sorry.

So lovely
Lulu was an amazing host, full of information and suggestions. I felt well prepared and like someone had looking out for me which was nice since I was traveling alone. She made her home very welcoming to guests. The two cats are cute little characters. Very easy going but will let you know if they want something. It was a really lovely stay. 10/10
