About this assignment
I will leave on 25th September (early afternoon) and the house-sitter is needed 1-2 days earlier to get to know the pets and the house. We will share the house on those days (a guest bedroom and a guest bathroom are available). I am returning on 5th October late evening and the house-sitter can leave any time on the same day or on the next day.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed the cats twice a day and wash the food bowls after each use
Change the cat water every day and wash the water bowl twice a week
Clean the cat toilet and vacuum around the cat toilet twice a day
Air the house in the morning
Let the cats outside and check on them when they are home
Tidy and responsible person, with a calm and nature-friendly lifestyle
What are the good features of the property and location
Direct metro (Venserpolder) 8 stops to the centre of Amsterdam and other convenient public transport
Quiet and safe neighbourhood, everyone speaks English
Pleasantly green and natural area - the back yard is in the park
All necessary shops and facilities within walking distance
Guest bedroom and guest bathroom with a shower cabin, fully equipped kitchen, internet

Entspannter Housesit mit lieben Katzen
Ich hatte einen sehr schönen und entspannten Housesit bei Bisera. Die Kommunikation war von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend. Bei Fragen bekam ich immer schnell eine Antwort und ich fühlte mich jederzeit gut betreut. Das Haus ist gemütlich und alles war gut organisiert. Die drei Katzen sind lieb und unkompliziert. Auch Ronja, die anfangs etwas schüchtern war, hat sich schnell an mich gewöhnt, wenn man ihr die Zeit gibt, die sie braucht. Wie bei Freigängerkatzen üblich, bringen die beiden anderen gelegentlich Mäuse mit nach Hause – darauf sollte man eingestellt sein. Bisera ist eine sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeberin. Alles war gut vorbereitet und die Absprachen waren zuverlässig. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohlgefühlt und würde jederzeit gerne wieder auf ihr Haus und ihre Katzen aufpassen.

From July to August: A Purrfect Stay
I stayed at Bisera’s home from 14th July to 11th August to look after her three wonderful cats. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and in a lovely location, making my stay both easy and enjoyable. The cats were full of personality—sweet, playful, and occasionally mischievous—which made for an entertaining and heartwarming few weeks. Bisera left clear instructions and was easy to communicate with, which made caring for her pets and home smooth and stress-free. I felt welcomed and trusted throughout my stay, and it was a pleasure to keep her cats happy and healthy until she returned. I’d happily return to care for them again in the future!
