About this assignment
Leaving for vacation need somebody to just feed dogs let them out back walk if you want to and enjoy this beautiful town. Just keep the house clean and take care of my pets is all I’m looking for.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Two dogs to feed make sure they have water. Let them out back in the fenced yard or take them for walks. One dog is a senior 5 pound Chihuahua. She mostly sleeps just feed and let outback the other is a pump ski. He is 20 pounds and likes to walk and needs to be fed and both need water.
What are the good features of the property and location
My property is in a historic district of Saint Augustine, Florida. Lots of tourist walk to the lighthouse walk to restaurants walk to the old town state park across the street amphitheater so much to do.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Just need a responsible person or a couple who will respect my house and take care of my pet pets. Keep house clean. You will also need to buy your own groceries.

Beautiful home, dogs, & city!
Jill has a cozy, comfortable home in a great location and two wonderful dogs. Ninja truly knows no stranger — he is loving, playful, and incredibly sweet. He enjoyed cuddles, pets, and scratches, and was always ready for his morning and evening walks. He kept a steady pace but slowed when asked, did great navigating cars and obstacles, and loved neighborhood walks morning & late afternoon and playtime in the fenced backyard (he’s excellent at fetch!). He was also perfectly fine if our morning routine shifted a bit, whether it was a 6am or 9am walk. Princess is older and shy, and very content doing her own thing. She needed to be carried outside down the big step, and used pee pads indoors on colder mornings when she stayed inside. She enjoyed spending time wandering in the backyard on warmer February days. She’s a picky eater, but Jill thoughtfully left several wet food options to rotate through. The house itself is clean, comfortable, and well set up. The master bed was very comfortable, the shower had amazing water pressure, and Ninja was a happy nighttime snuggler. The home is conveniently located just minutes from beaches, historic sites, downtown St. Augustine, groceries, the Saturday farmers market (wonderful experience!), and excellent restaurants. The dogs were fine at home while I explored for a couple of hours at a time. Ninja’s shedding was easy to manage with a quick vacuum. Jill was always responsive and easy to communicate with. I would happily return for another sit.

A really nice sit
A sweet little house in a really interesting city AND I got to play with two really nice puppies! doesn’t really get any better than that! Jill went out of her way to make this a memorable sit for me - among other things, she picked me up at the airport and took me to lunch at a wonderful restaurant. I would definitely sit for her again!
