About this assignment
I’m looking for an animal lover who has experience with dogs and donkeys. Someone who is reliable, trustworthy and would give my animals the care and love they need while we’re away.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feeding and brushing donkeys. Daily walk with dogs. One of them has separation anxiety so can’t be left home alone for long but loves going everywhere with the humans.
Looking after my home like their own.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our property is on the countryside at the north of Mallorca, 5 km from Pollença town with pool and air conditioning, recently refurbished very comfortable.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Need to have a driving licence. They have to be over 25 to be able to drive our car. One of the dog has separation anxiety can’t be left home alone for long.
Can I bring my own pets?

Highly recommended house sit
I went to look after Renata and Gary’s house , dogs and donkeys for one week in May 2025, and it was a great experience. Both Renata and Gary are warm and generous people, and were very accommodating for the time that I spent at their home. They were excellent at communicating before and during the sit, and left detailed instructions for the care of their house and animals. The dogs, Freah and Daisy, are described as ‘needy’ , however are relatively easy to handle once you understand their characters. I found them to be great company, and thoroughly enjoyed walking with them every day. The donkeys, Ote and Sancho, are friendly and relatively straightforward to look after. Sancho is always up for a bit of a contact, Ote less so but still likes his ears stroked now and again.He’s also a bit more vocal than Sancho. Again, like, the dogs, I found it an enjoyable experience to be around them. Renata and Gary’s home is very comfortable, and if the opportunity arises I would highly recommend house sitting for them.
