Gorgeous Waterfront Condo, Quick Transit Ride Downtown + 2 Adorable Kitties

About this assignment

We’re looking for someone who loves cats! Taking care of them, cuddling them and playing with them! We are looking for house sitters who would also take great care of our home in addition to our two little fur babies. This is a condo unit, so our pet/house sitter must be respectful in the unit as well as around the building and complex, as we have many neighbours. We would love a house sitter who is responsive and sends us updates while we’re travelling. Most importantly - our house sitter MUST give lots of love to our two boys, Freddie and Peanut :)

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Cats:
Feeding cats, cleaning litter every day, playing with them daily, cleaning and refilling electric fountain (on average 1-2 times a week), take them on nightly walks in the condo hallway for about 5 minutes.

Home:
Daily cleaning and vacuuming.

Building:
Take out garbage using building garbage chute. Take out recycling in designated building recycling room. Respect the building and neighbours.

What are the good features of the property and location

The condo itself has a lot of amenities. These include: large gym, squash court, pool, hot tub, sauna, BBQs, tennis courts, billiards room, and multiple outdoor lounge spaces.

Steps away from the condo complex is the beautiful Lake Ontario and boardwalk/marina. An amazing bike path which takes you all throughout the city can be accessed from right behind the building.

Directly in front of the building on Lake Shore Blvd West, are Toronto Bike Rentals, and a streetcar that will take you through the city all the way to the East end. (501 Queen Streetcar). There is also a bus about a 10 minute walk away from the building that will take you north to the Bloor subway line.

A short walk away from the building are many essential shops, grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, bars and coffee shops! Humber Bay is an extremely beautiful and bustling place to be in the summer. There are tons of nature trails, parks, and the famous Humber Bay Bridge which gives you incredible views of the Toronto skyline and Lake Ontario!!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

- This is strictly a non - smoking building. There are designated smoking areas outside.
- We ask that loud noise is kept to a minimum in the unit after 1030pm.

Can I bring my own pets?
