About this assignment
I have 2 wonderful cats. They are like my children to me and so i'd like to meet someone who can take care of them with love. They are very sweet and need many cuddles.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
i'd like a reliable person who take care of my cats, with food, water, litter and many cuddles! I have also some plants in the house and on the balcony. I would prefer someone who works from home or is at least at home for a while during the day, because my cats are used to having me around a lot.
What are the good features of the property and location
I live in a very quiet and coloured top floor apartment in a central area with all kind of supermarkets, restaurants, shops, the subway just round the corner that takes you to duomo in 10 minutes and everywhere, and also close to many green areas.
I have also a bike
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The house consists of a bedroom, a living room, another room, a bathroom and a small kitchen, and balcony. Air conditioning and wifi.Sheets and towels available.
Can I bring my own pets?

2 week sit in Milan
I stayed at Alessandra's for 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience sitting for her 2 lovely cats. The apartment is in a fantastic spot in Milan! The metro is very close to walk to from the apartment and you can be at Duomo and other central locations very quickly and easily. The location although pretty central is also not too busy and very quiet and peaceful. It's a lovely apartment and has everything you need. I really loved looking after Ares and Joy, they are both such sweet characters and very chilled and affectionate. Alessandra is lovely and the communication was excellent. Everything was communicated well and instructions printed out and left in the apartment to explain everything for a smooth sit. One of the cats unfortunately was a bit sick whilst I was there, but Alessandra kept in communication and had a friend also come to help out when a vet visit was needed. Alessandra also came back early and took Joy with her just to ensure she was ok and got the treatment needed. Overall, I would definitely recommend this sit :)

Two week stay
I stayed at Alessandra’s apartment for two weeks, two fantastic weeks. I briefly met Alessandra on the morning I took over, the impression I got from her was that she was a fun happy person, this was re enforced over the next couple of weeks with our interactions. Her apartment was really cosy, with good WiFi and air con, which I found was a godsend, Milan was hot!! Her apartment is situated on the outskirts of the city centre, which is perfect to visit the sites of Milan, all walkable. A five minute walk to the Metro, which again takes you anywhere in the city. Loads of restaurants and cafes close by, well it is Italy. I can totally recommend a day trip to Lake Como, stunning. Now to talk about the reason I was there, Ares and Joy, two furry bundles of fun that when they are used to you, (doesn’t take long once you have fed them) are a source of amusement, apart from at five in the morning when your bed becomes a cat track!! I wish to thank Alessandra for opportunity to stay at her apartment, lots of memories made, I shall certainly miss those moggies (cats) a fun two weeks that went way to fast.

An oasis of peace and cat love in the very center of Milan. Alessandra is a very warm, open and kind Italian. She had provided everything necessary for a comfortable life with two lovely and well-behaved cats Joy and Ares. Alessandra also offered her city bike. Although getting to the Duomo, the Gallery, etc. is very convenient on foot and of course by metro. Thank you Alexandra for your hospitality and trust. I would love to come back to these cats again.
