About this assignment

I am looking for a kind, clean, non-smoking animal lover to come and house sit for 2.5 months in our home in the beautiful French Pyrenees. Take advantage of free room and board with full wifi, while caring for our three cats and 4 turtles and explore the gorgeous Pyrenees and French villages. Great for people who love nature and love to hike

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Ensure the animals are fed and watered and have clean litter for the cats and a clean tank for the turtles. Care for our plants in the summer months and keep the house clean and tidy

What are the good features of the property and location

Nestled in the French Pyrenees surrounded by hiking trails, the swimming lake in Montrejeau, many French villages worth exploring, 30 minutes drive to the Spanish border. Save and inclusive local community

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We only accept fluent English speaking non-smokers with a valid police clearance. You must pay your own way to get here and we will offer free room and board and wifi in exchange for your house sitting services over the summer. This is an agreement from mid June to beginning of September. We want someone to stay for the entire time. We have a car available for use for someone with a valid license to increase their mobility
