House and Pet Sitting in Steamboat Springs, CO

About this assignment

A responsible adult to ensure all is well and handle any problem(s) that arise. Someone who loves animals (2 cats and a dog) and will take good care of them. Someone(s) who can stay the whole time, July 2-July 15, 2025.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Dog walking/playing, cat feeding/inside and outside managing (they like to go out in the morning, ensure they come in by night), ensuring any house problems are handled. Cleaning up after oneself, leaving the house in good condition.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is about 12 miles from downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado, a resort community for winter sports, and a summer haven for hiking, etc. We are close to three wilderness areas (Flattops, Sarvis Creek, and Zirkel wilderness areas). Unlimited recreational opportunities. Our neighborhood is a five mile loop, great for walking, running, and meeting the friendly people who live here.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our home is in a semi-rural setting. A car is needed to get to town and places for hiking, although we can work out an arrangement to use our car if needed.
