About this assignment

Reliable, responsive, non-smoker, able to meet us before the house sit commences, someone happy tending to our low maintenance garden and our equally low maintenance rabbit Rafa!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Looking after our house over winter, looking after Rafa (changing the litter tray, feeding him, keeping him company), keeping us informed of any issues

What are the good features of the property and location

Brilliant location for getting into Nottingham - less than a minute to the bus stop or a 25 minute walk into the centre of town; dead end road so no through traffic; friendly neighbours; 10 minutes’ walk from Sherwood high street (cafes, pubs); 2 minutes’ walk from local Tesco and 3 minute drive to larger Sainsbury’s
The property is a Victorian end terrace over three floors with high ceilings and lots of space! The property will be fully furnished and is set out with two office spaces if you want to work from here. Broadband and Virgin TV with wide range of sports channels. New kitchen fitted two years ago. Street parking without permits.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Rafa needs daily care; if you are staying here, you will need to be around at some point every day to feed him.
We will be abroad during the house sit, but we have family in Nottingham should any needs arise that need someone to come to the property.
We would ideally like to have one house sitter / couple for the duration of the house sit, which is intended to being 24/09/25 and is likely to finish in the first week of January.
We would like to meet our house sitter(s) before the house sit commences and would want to complete the House Sitting Agreement with a deposit agreed.
Because of the length of the sit, we would want to agree on utilities contributions. We also have a cleaner who comes once a week and we would discuss arrangements around this with any sitter.
