Quaint farmhouse in walkable mountain town

About this assignment

We're looking for a loving, responsible, and clean housesitter who is excited to spend some time with our sweet dog in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The main thing is walking our dog: He goes for two 15-20 minute walks per day. Of course we'd also ask you to feed him twice a day. And occasionally water the plants.

What are the good features of the property and location

We're located in the heart of White Salmon, a small mountain town across from Hood River, Oregon. It's an outdoor paradise, with tons of opportunities for hiking, kayaking, windsurfing, skiing, and more. From our house, you can walk everywhere: a wine bar, grocery store, yoga studio, hiking trail -- and a famous brewery and bakery. But the town is very accessible: only an hour from Portland International Airport.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

As our dog is big, we're looking for someone who's relatively fit. He's on the anxious side, so we're looking for someone who's a true dog lover. He warms up quickly with those folks :)

We work from home — and have a desk and fast wifi — so our house is a good fit for remote workers.
