Ranch home on 13 acres with swimmable pond but only 10 mins from downtown

I am looking for someone who is clean, responsible, and relatively handy in case small things go wrong. They need to love both cats and dogs and love the outdoors.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities include taking care of the cats and dog as well as the plants and garden.

Pet duties include, basic feeding/watering and cleaning of the litter. The dog is a grazer so just make sure the food is full and the cats have an automatic feeder so that needs to be filled up once a week. We live on 13 acres and the dog just loves to run around. The animals can just be let out of the house, will play and come in when they are ready.

Garden/lawn - The sprinklers are on an automatic system but the house plants need to be watered and the lawn has an robotic lawnmower. Sometimes it gets stuck but most of the time it does the work itself. The biggest thing is to look out for irrigation leaks.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a newly remodeled ranch home on 13 acres 5 miles north of Grand Junction. We are about an 1.5 hours from Moab and 1.5 from Aspen. So you have easy access to the mountains and the desert. There is a guest room in which you will stay with your own dedicated bathroom. The kitchen/laundry are relatively straight forward. We do not have tv service but there will be one in the available that you can hook your streaming services up to. We also have a 1/3 acre pond that you and the dog can swim in when it gets hot. There is still work being done on the house and we are still moving back in (so ignore that in the photos) but it will all be done by the start of the sit.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are set back off the road and secluded, we have a car that you can use but transportation to here will be your responsibility. There are stairs to and from the guest bedroom/bathroom as well as a swamp cooler for climate control.
